Mark Simmons, managing partner and founder

Mark is a 12 year marketing veteran, specializing in digital for over 8 years, and a New York native. He shares his expertise through contributions to the agency’s blog, participation in various LinkedIn and local marketing groups and providing agency services to local pro bono clientele.

Prior to founding marCis interactive, Mark gained his experience working for NYC agencies servicing global Fortune 500 clients that included SAP, Four Seasons Hotels, Sirrius Radio, BMW, Wharton School of Business, The Conference Board and Nokia. His range of expertise was instrumental in driving campaign success and agency growth.

Mark is a Google Adwords Professional, and a  graduate of Duke University.

Michael Coughlin, partner

Mike is  an avid technology enthusiast and Boston native, and has been working in the digital media space for over 10 years now. Michael played a pivotal role in the early stage growth of a New York City-based global digital agency. As Manager of Search and Digital Media, he helped form and lead a team of digital marketing professionals for over 5 years and has been a leader in industry innovation. Among his greatest accomplishments was spear-heading the Pay-Per-Click marketing strategy for a global SAP lead generation campaign. This project was among the finalists for the 2008 ClickZ Marketing Excellence Award for Search Ad Management.

Michael has experience with global & foreign language clients in almost every industry, including big brands like SAP, Four Seasons Hotels, Humana, Wharton School of Business, Scholastic, National Grid and BMW.

More recently, Michael developed the strategy behind a first of its kind interactive golf tournament for Playboy Golf. Participants in the tournament were able to interact in real time via Twitter and Facebook with people at home.

Michael is a Certified Google Adwords Professional and a graduate of Boston University.
